I quite agree with the sentiments in this post, Valeria.

I think the boom in marketing books has led to an environment where many companies are neglecting basic customer service in the search for the next big marketing craze.

Treat your customers as you would like to be treated. That is the basis for good customer service.

Not to say that training isn't important, but I think that putting love into something intangible like customer satisfaction is more important than worrying about graphs and figures.
