It does read a bit like some strange tribes are trading places. Chalk that to inventiveness in naming companies.
If you haven't already purchased The Age of Conversation, or if you'd like to buy more copies at the original price, now is the time to act. Especially if you're looking for the hard cover, which will be discontinued. One week from now, you will find the book on Amazon and other booksellers at a higher price to cover commissions ($30 vs. $16.95 today). You will still be able to purchase the eBook and bulk orders on Lulu.
Why are Drew and Gavin making the move? To take advantage of a broader distribution and reach for the paperback copy. To date, we have been able to raise $11,000 for Variety, the Children's Charity. We want to continue raising funds for the charity and raising awareness of how these exchanges are shaping the future of work.
If you're delving into social media and community building, The Age of Conversation makes for a great starter -- with views from 103 authors among today's most dedicated bloggers and professionals.
No hassle, no lines, and an opportunity to help children. If you'd like to sample some of the thinking shared in the book, visit the co-authors' blogs listed here. If you were to contribute one thought to The Age of Conversation, what would it be?

Great cause, and it's nice to see TAC moving out into the broader market.
Does this mean it will soon be readable on Kindle? If so, may we share the earlier Lulu version with friends -- or does Amazon's draconian copyright management only apply to the upcoming version?

That's a good question, Chris. The intent is to sell any version -- eBook, hard cover, paperback. Otherwise we will not be collecting more funds for Variety.
As for Kindle's draconian copyright management, I guess we shall wait to hear from those who are making the purchase.
