Marketing Conversations - Blogger Social 2008

Bloggersocial They will be coming from Australia, the UK, Belgium, Italy, Canada and many places in the US -- all marketing and social media professionals who blog. All to meet up face to face and continue the conversation. It was an idea born at an earlier get together in New York City, and CK and Drew made it happen.

I was thrilled to learn that Kris Hoet joined the list of people who could adjust their schedules to make it -- April 4-6, 2008 in New York City (by popular demand). That works very well for me, and I have given CK my support for any meet and greet activities.

This is an initial list of participants. Will you join us?

Susan Bird, Tim Brunelle, Katie Chatfield, Terry Dagrosa, Matt Dickman, Luc Debaisieux, Gianandrea Facchini, Mark Goren, Gavin Heaton, Sean Howard, CK, Valeria Maltoni, Drew McLellan, Doug Meacham, Marilyn Pratt, Steve Roesler, Greg Verdino, CB Whittemore, Steve Woodruff, Paul McEnany, Ann Handley, David Reich, Tangerine Toad, Kristin Gorski, Mack Collier, David Armano, Ryan Barrett, Lori Magno, Tim McHale, Gene DeWitt, Mario Vellandi, Arun Rajagopal, Darryl Ohrt, Joseph Jaffe, Rohit Bhargava, Anna Farmery, Marianne Richmond, Thomas Clifford, Lewis Green, Geoff Livingston, Kris Hoet, Connie Reece

UPDATE: Toby Bloomberg will also be joining us.

Among the social media events and conferences I am planning to attend in 2008, this is a must!

It's going to be a party that we'll talk about for years!

I can't wait to be in the same room with all these people!

Drew

I really, really want to make it... I swear I'm gonna try. My schedule is so crazy and the divorce isn't helping any... but I'm gonna try. Social is the weekend before I head off to Houston for a week, so the timing is very, very tight... but I'm not giving up yet.

Thanks Valeria. I agree with Drew, this is something we're going to remember for a long time, looking forward to meet all of you.

- Kris

@Drew -- Early April will be here before we know it. I've already heard whispers of fun activities ;-)

@Tim -- my spring is packed with deliverables. Luckily this is close enough and during a weekend. Hope you can make it, I know you'll be with us in spirit regardless.

@Kris -- so glad you can make it. It's great that we can make it about social from all over the world!

The challenge I have set myself is to learn a little Italian ready for April....though with my thick Northern UK accent this could be hilarious! Can't wait to meet up..

Oh, what fun, Valeria! This will truly be an event to remember. I'm enjoying anticipating it....

Valeria - thanks for the nice welcome to the party :-) This is sure to be The place to be come April!
