What makes 007 such a strong franchise? It has been 46 years since the first movie was made and it is still going strong with the latest movie, Quantum of Solace, beginning principal photography now. Twenty two movies and no indication of a slow down -- on the production side and in the box office. Clearly, there is a backbone, a story, that keeps audiences coming back for more.
The budgets to make the movie are getting much bigger.
That equates well with blogging. It takes less to get into the arena, yet to develop a loyal readership, it takes greater amounts of attention and care over time. Today at The Blog Herald I am talking about how to make your blog a franchise a-la 007. The ingredients are:
- always deliver on expectations
- be effective while you're efficient
- mix it up, be resourceful
- be worldly
- don't forget to seduce
What other ingredients are there in your experience?

I'm a huge James Bond fan! I've watched every movie, even the ones that were made before I was born.
There is a new one coming out soon....

Not a guy who doesn't want to be him, not a woman who doesn't think he's somewhat devilishly attractive. A flavor for any preference (Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan or Craig). It's awesome! That's why I own every single Bond movie on DVD. Yes, I really do.
Nice teaser for the BlogHerald post.
