One of Daniel Pink's other books literally saved my life so I am always eager to get into his head. He is the reason that I stopped practicing law and became a full time business coach.

He put me in touch with the hungering of my right brain.

The piece that got my attention in this post is the fact that you say that "That's because alongside the profit motive, we hold dear the need to use profit to reach purpose."

My focus as a business coach is to help business people entrain the rhythm of their business with the needs of their audience. And to pay it forward.

I believe in the spiritual consequence of these things and I have found it to be extremely powerful in my life and the life of my clients.

I will be back and will visit often.

Thanks for doing a great job!

Did you read "Free Agent Nation"? That book was brilliant and it's what got Dan on my radar and in my head. It also helps that he's a super nice and decent person with sharp intelligence, a great sense of humor and a curious mind. He's a friend ;)

Thank you for letting us into your own story, Iyabo. I'm big on karma, although sometimes I get impatient.

This blew me over and I've been thinking about it for several days:

Right off the bat, he said he would demonstrate two thing to me:

1. that he cared
2. that I could trust him

And that was the extent of our implicit contract.

This is the essence "personal and professional best," distilled. Very inspiring. Thank you.

Thank you for reading, and for stopping by, Betsy. Glad it inspired.
