Thank you so much for bringing these all together in one place. It practically begs to be cut out and taped up somewhere :)

I'd like to add one more fave:

"Do or do not; there is no try." Yoda

Thank you for sharing this gems with a larger audience. Almost everyone is a great points for starting a conversation. This list is definitely worth book marketing! Happy marketing, Heidi Cohen

If I may?

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams; live the life you have imagined." - Thoreau

I love this one because it implies dreams offer a sense of direction (compass), and by living the life you imagine, you are exemplifying the change(s) you want to see in the world.

Chinese Proverb: The person who says it is impossible should not interrupt the person who is doing it.

If it's right, and you know it's right, do it. And eff the naysayers.

Finally, "Two boys arrived yesterday with a pebble they said was the head of a dog, until I pointed out that it was really a typewriter."

It took me a couple times reading through that last one before it made sense, but it's brilliant. The more people think this is this, the more important it is to find someone who sees this as being that.

Thanks for sharing, Valeria!

@Rosemary - I like that one, too :)

@Heidi - true, I could write a post for each one... maybe I will, for some.

@Brian - thank you for adding the explanation of why you like them. Strange how the word "dream" rarely makes it into our conversations anymore. Not in the hopeful way it should. For the second one, or fail doing it. Better than regretting not doing.

“The way to get good ideas is to get lots of ideas and throw the bad ones away.” –- Linus Pauling

Take the good ones and execute, execute, execute!
