The focus on "aliveness" reminds me of an inspiring quote by Howard Thurman:

"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

I'm not sure whether Kathy would subscribe to this in the context of creating passionate users, since the focus she is championing is in helping others come alive ... but I suppose if helping others come alive is what makes you come alive, then it all works out for everyone's greatest good.

Thank you for saying yes, Kathy. This was a gift to be able to think about the ideas and reflect upon how I can do better and be more helpful.
