Immediate can engender a sense of urgency and relevance with people. And I'm glad we had so many talented people in the same place to be able to move quickly.

Thank you for the work you are putting into it. And I hear we're now talking about $50k.

Great post. I am obsessed with the concept of "the stream" and the information inertia it can create. The fundraising for Japan is a great example of how the stream can be a positive force helping people focus on what's important, not just what's immediate.
