Our search for meaning makes us capable of becoming what we can be.
Which is why it is imperative you recognize people -- your teams, colleagues, the people who want to make a difference in your business and life -- as capable of great feats and provide a context for them to overachieve.
While with creativity it may work to narrow boundaries and stimulate great work (within reason), putting people in bureaucratic and organizational chart straight jackets in the conceptual age will backfire.
It is science AND art -- and you don't get to the heart with a spreadsheet.
