It's Friday and I thought we could have a fun conversation about what influences us.
I'll go first.
Who has been your biggest influence?
My mother has been my biggest direct influence. I could however say that I have a soft spot for mentors and people who care. I tend to connect with them and stay in touch over the years.
What is the expression used in business you dislike the most?
We are a family. Even in a family business. I'd much rather use the term "tribe" to describe a group working toward a common purpose. Context matters.
What is the most fun project you have ever executed?
It was the one where I learned the most -- putting together the program and social for a global conference/workshop for about 200 people. By far, the most ambitious and challenging project for me is yet to come. To me, there is no expiration date for having something to contribute.
Which leader do you admire the most and why?
Steve Jobs for imagination, vision, and discipline. I actually wish I could think of a woman here and wonder why while there are so many I admire, I have a hard time picking one to stand out (aside from my choice in the first question).
